Just picked up and updated my gear with a new Puqpress and Niche grinder. Outstanding great from an outstanding local business. Always great to deal local. The only suggestion I'd make is ensure you use Australia Post and NOT Aramex who, in my opinion,shouldn't be in existence. Very competitive prices from the guys at Alternative and always quick with offering advise and help. Have been a long time customer and there's a reason I come back. Customer service. It's great. This coffee grinder is stylish, space-saving, and pairs well with an Aeropress, making it ideal for quick, mess-free brews. The new grinder delivers consistent, quiet, and fast performance, significantly improving coffee quality over the previous model. Delivery was prompt with excellent tracking, making the overall experience very positive.

The ergonomic design of the handle fits well in various hand sizes, the material feels smooth yet has a comfortable grip. The spout truly offers good control when wanting to pour slower or faster. When pouring the kettle has a good balance, not feeling too heavy or too light. The overall size of the base fits well on our smaller bench space, which is great for our apartment and minimal kitchen size. The gentle 'beep' noise once the brewing is complete is pleasant. It boils to 100 degrees Celsius fast, and operationally is easy/simple to use.

I am happy with the price and quality of my purchase. It was thoughtfully packaged and delivered in a reasonable time on my doorstep. Thank you all involved! :)

Great quality hard case I'm sure will protect my scales

Switched from a Breville grinder to the DF54 and we’re blown away. My partner and I use different beans (I drink decaf), so single dosing is perfect for us. It’s super consistent, quiet, and easy to dial in. Way better than the Breville, no going back!

Big game-changer. It’s so thin, light weight, durable, and has seriously improved my shot consistency. No more channeling, better crema, and super easy to clean. 10/10

We were traveling in Norway/UK. Got absolutely fed up with poor to exceptionally poor espressos... So I got this. On the basis it is very compact and it seemed like it might actually work (I have a minipresso, and it doesn't...). It seems it is the ideal travel companion. It does work, and it works quite well. Better shots than you'll get at anything but a good coffee cafe. Mine is paired with a Kingrinder P2, the two together come in at just on 700g. I use a Flair when traveling in the ute - I prefer the Flair because I can really profile easily and the ability to have the second shot ready to go makes two coffees a doddle. But the Picopresso is just about as good, which is a high recommendation indeed.

I was on the fence about spending the money as I owned a Moccamaster previously and hardly used it but I'm glad I did. It turned my store bought beans into a perfectly acceptable cup of black coffee with the press of a button. This machine is for those who really appreciate the finer things about coffee. Or just people who simply like a cup of the black stuff.

Amazing little grinder that is good value for money! Grinds have been consistent and smooth. Only downside is that there’s a little fines. 100% recommend. It fits perfectly well in an aeropress that makes it easy for travel too!

I chose the 064 for my home brewing setup and found that it’s not only excellent for filter coffee, but also works surprisingly well for Moka Pot brewing with medium to dark roast beans. If I had a home espresso machine, I might have gone with the 064S instead—but since my main focus is on filter coffee, and I only use the Moka Pot occasionally for homemade tiramisu, the 064 is a perfect fit for me.

Great little machine that does exactly what you need it to do. I find with some pods the foil on the flat side of the pod doesn't pierce evenly over the pod but this isn't an issue for me. Coffee is hot and the crema is perfect. I cant wait to try my own coffee with this instead of pods. Very portable and so far has withheld 2-3x daily use with a charge each night for the last 2 weeks.

I'm no coffee snob, but its a hard no to instant. This baby is travelling with me and using pods, makes a great brew using hot water (flask) and a bit of milk, nuked if i can. Simply loving it!

I have been using a Fellow Atmos 0.7l for about a year and I've also got an Ankomn Turn'n'Seal 0.6l for a few months so I can make a comparative review. This should be interesting because the two products are similarly priced. I purchased both products from Alternative Brewing. The Fellow on the other is made almost completely of metal, with the exception of the upper part of the lid which is plastic (the lower part is metal). The Ankomn on the other hand is made completely of plastic. The Ankomn has a slightly more ergonomic "knob" which is easier to grab whereas on the Fellow you just have a smooth surface which is harder to get a grip on. However this is compensated by the fact the Fellow has a smoother movement and you need less turns to get a vacuum, whereas in the Ankomn is harder to turn and you need more turns. On the Fellow there is an easy to see indicator that will let you know when you get a vacuum. On the Ankomn however the indicator is not very easy to read, you really have to look close to see it. Both Ankomn and Fellow claim to be able to hold a vacuum for a few days in a row and they both sometimes fail to do that, however the Fellow is much more consistent and 99% of the times it will hold a vacuum for at least 24 hours and most of the times it will last for a few days. So all in all I think the Fellow Atmos is a great product and I'm going to get a second one soon.

Bought it cause it seemed like a cool little toy, but it has streamlined my workflow. Super easy to use and looks very premium. Strong 5 stars

with the addition of a cupcake paper to stop the powder getting in the air valves, the BruTrek is the best way to store matcha that I've found.

I purchased the Subminimal Subscale to streamline my work flow when using a single dose grinder. Simple but effective scales, drop beans in the scale cup for your required weight, pour into grinder - job done. I now also use the scale cup to weigh out a shot pour as it is liquid and heat safe - great for dialing in a new bean to get your required ratio. Scale is very accurate to .1gm when tested against my regular coffee scale. 5 Stars from me. . .

Feels sturdy and the glass is thicker than expected, worth the money! Baristas have commented on it multiple times now too, so I guess that’s a good sign!
