2 - Advanced Shipping ā to minimise downtime without your product, once we have assessed your claim we will ship a replacement to you before we have received the damaged goods back.
Making a Freight Protection Claim
- To assess your claim, you will be required to provide photo and/or video evidence of the damaged product.
- All Freight Protections claims must be made within 3 business days of receiving your product.

A Delight to Use
We have a very good electric grinder but I use different brew methods to my family and wanted something quiet for the early morning that I could dial in for myself. Iām still dialing in and this is a first impressions reviewā¦ First impression is of quality construction (heavier than I expected) and a delight to use. Easy to disassemble for cleaning. Feeling the crunch as you turn the handle is very satisfying.
Smaller than Jmax
I first bought a Jmax and wanted another grinder for work. I bought this as there were no Jmax in stock. While it grinds well, I like the bigger body of the Jmax and putting beans in this is harder.
Great and versatile manual grinder
The grinder is so sleek looking and feels very sturdy. Itās my first grinder and i had to play around the clicks to understand the different levels of grinding, i make coffee with a v60 and a moka pot so this product was perfect to get the right consistency for both.

Almost entirely š
Lovely all round. The case, supplied brush and puffer ball thing for blowing the grinder clean. This is my first hand grinder. I use it for a moka(6cup)pot currently. I found I can't fit all the beans at once. No stress though, Just stop, pop the lid put the rest in. I also went for the stylish black one. One issue it can be hard to see into, to see if any beans have hung upš. This doesn't occur much but a lighter colour may be more practical. But who want practicality over style...not I.
1Zpresso X-Ultra Grinder
I order an 1Zpresso X-Ultra from Alternative Brewing when it was on back order - their communication on the estimated delivery date was prompt and polite - they expected to received their stock in late March and I received the grinder in the mail second week of April. The packaging was secure and I love my new grinder!
