The Venus percolator beautiful stove-top espresso maker body is constructed completely made from high quality 18/10 stainless steel (including all internal parts). The Venus can be used on gas, electric, and induction stoves.
You can use the Venus on any burner or induction which allows this versatile unit to be used anywhere. Simply add water to the bottom chamber up to the release level and add your coffee into the stainless steel filter. Do not tamp the coffee as water must easily flow through. Screw the Venus back together and place the Venus on a stove top.
If using a gas or flame please ensure the flame is not larger then the base of the moka pot. The water pressure will increase which will cause the value to release and the water will move through the coffee grounds. Then the coffee will push to the top chamber through the valve. Once you hear a gurgling sound your Moka Pot is complete, stir the coffee in the chamber to equalise the flavours. Enjoy the great Italian Bialetti coffee.
Cleaning is easy however we recommend not using a washing machine, wire or rough brush. Instead use a soft brush to clean your Venus.

Making a Freight Protection Claim

Bialetti 4 cup Mocka pot
Says a 4 cup but better as a generous 3 cup. Better if you pre heat the water first before assembling. Doing that you get a fast brew and smooth coffee. The stainless base for some reason I don't like -Aluminium seems better Probably the traditionalist in me. Using it a lot good product.

Wacaco NanoPresso
After years of home brewing, the NanoPresso has been a revelation. I bought it for camping, but use it as my preferred brew device at home now. And the Venus Moka Pot does the job when there are guests! Alternative Brewing made it happen with faultless service.

Big visit
Visitors from overseas came to see how we live here in Australia after more than35 years. I had a 4 cup but now we were with 8 . I quickly ordered the 10 cup and made a good brew with good coffee of course! The Bialetti worked perfectly and I was impressed with the 10 cup as I am with the 4 cup.

Yes. The Venus is safe for use on Gas, Induction and Electric cooktops.
Unfortunately not. You must not underfill the water in the base or put too little coffee in the filter to try and achieve a lesser quantity of coffee output because this will affect the pressure and effectiveness of your stovetop. Therefore, when you purchase your Bialetti make sure you are buying the correct size for your typical use.
The safety valve is an important safety feature of your Bialetti pot. If steam or pressure is being regularly released from the safety valve, do not ignore as your pot may be blocked, or have a faulty safety valve.

Loving my Bialetti Venus, but I find with this and my Moka Pot Express that there is always water left behind in the bottom vessel. Is this normal? I stop brewing when there is no longer any water coming from the top spout, but find there is always a bit of water left in the bottom. I am using this on an induction cook top
