Pre Order & Secure the Weber Workshops The Bird for Late September

* IF ORDERED WITH OTHER PRODUCTS YOUR ENTIRE ORDER WILL BE HELD

The Weber Workshops Bird isn’t just another coffee brewer; it’s an entirely new way to think about brewing. Short for Brew In Reverse Direction, The Bird defies category. It’s not espresso, not pour-over and not immersion - yet it draws on the strengths of all three to create rich, complex cups through a patent-pending, piston-driven vacuum system. Designed for no-bypass brewing with full pressure control, The Bird invites both home brewers and professional baristas to explore uncharted brewing territory with clarity, precision and style.

Vacuum-Driven, No-Bypass Brewing

At the heart of The Bird is its innovative approach to no-bypass brewing. Unlike traditional pour-over methods, where water can flow around the grounds, The Bird ensures full contact with every granule. By generating vacuum pressure through a mechanical piston system, it gives the user complete control over flow, extraction time and even grind size, making finer grinds and richer brews possible without bitterness or clogging. This results in a cup that’s strikingly clean, layered and expressive.

Materials that Matter

Crafted from thick borosilicate glass and premium metals, The Bird is engineered for durability and aesthetic appeal. The brewing pod is made from 316 stainless steel, while the drive shaft and components are built from 304 stainless steel, solid brass and anodised aluminium. Every detail, down to the silicone drip catcher and reusable mesh filter, is designed for repeat use and effortless maintenance. Cleaning is as simple as disassembly and rinsing.

Designed for Exploration

The Bird isn’t a one-recipe machine - it’s a platform. It works for quick morning brews, slow weekend experiments and even cold brews. Alongside the brewer, Weber includes recipes developed with leading coffee professionals, giving users a starting point while encouraging creativity. With The Bird, you’re not just making coffee - you’re reimagining how it’s brewed.
