Nice grinder
Cleaning is easy! Grinding is pretty precise although the initial dial in takes a long time as each click is a tiny increment. Achieves very clear brews and flavour separation. Nice for bright and juicy coffee although capable of sweet jammy and deep pour overs too!

1Zpresso J coffee grinder.
Knowing nothing about coffee grinders, I looked at electric and manual options. I chose the 1Zpresso J. It is very well made, feels sturdy and on first use, I was surprised how easily it turned with very little effort and how quickly it ground the beans. It looks great on the shelf too. Dealing with the Alternative Brewing team was a breeze. Thanks again TABT.

Perfect Partner to Little Guy Espresso
Stepping up from the smaller 1Zpresso, this grinder delivered a fine even grind, resulting in a fantastic extraction with the Little Guy. In fact a step up from the electric grinder, producing a thick crema on my single origin brew.

Exactly what I’ve needed!
Fantastic hand grinder, easy to use, can definitely taste the difference from the first cup. Works excellent with my Flair Classic, able to get some really great shots going. Highly recommend!

Great grinder!
I bought this one for my husband, he likes things that work properly. He loved it! He was skeptical, because he is fine using ground coffee but I insisted he try to grind his own. This unit is really easy to use, you can tell it has quality parts inside. The grinding process is easy. Takes a bit of trial and error to find the right setting for your machine, we use mocha pot, had to go down a bit on the dial (for a corner grind) as the suggested number was too fine for mocha pot. Overall love it, and it looks great in the kitchen.

Hey Alt Brewing team,
I currently use a WPM Welhome grind for V60 and was thinking of upgrading to a hand grinder that I can use while travelling. Couple of questions:
- Is this 1Zpresso J grinder better in terms of performance and grind size for filter coffe?
- Would the J or the Q grinder be better for filter? Both looks like they have similar specs.

The overview states that there are 12.5µ grind size increments per click, but the video graphic shows 25µ adjustments. Just wondering which is correct, since I'm looking at a grinder favouring espresso with finer adjustments. Great video, by the way. Always enjoy them.

Hi, what would the click rotations be for a cold drip coffee set up? On the video it said 130 - but it also noted this was way to coarse. The manual doesn’t have any recommendations either. Thanks for your help
