The DiFluid Omix Plus Coffee Analyser is an all-in-one lab instrument that replaces a whole shelf of separate testers, measuring water activity, moisture, density, particle size, bean volume, roast colour and environmental conditions from cherry through to ground coffee. It works across six sample types and three stages of production, from raw cherries to roasted, ground coffee, in a single compact unit.

Genuine Water Activity, Not An Estimate

Omix Plus measures water activity using the Chilled-Mirror-Dew-Point method, internationally recognised as the accurate way to test it, delivering a result in about 30 seconds. Moisture content, bulk density and true density are measured from the same roughly 150g sample, so you get a full picture from one test rather than several.

One Device, Every Stage Of Production

Omix Plus recognises coffee cherries, dried cherries, parchment, green beans, roasted beans and ground coffee automatically, adjusting its readings to match. Sample noise like gaps, chaff and outliers gets filtered out automatically too, so an uneven sample doesn't throw off the result. Bulk density and true density are both measured, using an algorithm that replicates the displacement method without needing to submerge anything.

Roast Colour and Staying Connected

A near-infrared imaging system reads roast colour from an 18 to 20 gram sample, building a distribution histogram that can flag uneven roasting rather than just giving a single average number. Everything shows up on a 3.5-inch touchscreen and results sync to DiFluid's companion platform so you can log data in the field and bring it back to compare between roasts. It all packs into a dedicated carrying case, built to move with you rather than stay fixed to one bench.

DiFluid Omix Plus Coffee Analyser Features

Chilled-Mirror-Dew-Point Water Activity - Uses the internationally recognised method for testing water activity, not an estimate, with a result in about 30 seconds.

True and Bulk Density - Estimates true density with an algorithm that replicates the displacement method, without submerging anything.

Roast Colour Via NIR Imaging - Builds a distribution histogram from a single sample, flagging uneven roasting instead of just averaging it out.

Six Sample Types, Three Stages - Recognises cherries, parchment, green beans, roasted beans and grounds automatically, adjusting readings to match.

Automatic Noise Filtering - Strips out gaps, chaff and outliers from a reading before it affects the result.

Environmental Compensation - Adjusts for temperature, humidity, pressure and altitude so results hold up wherever you're testing.

3.5" Touchscreen - Displays results and distribution graphs directly on the unit.

Connects To DiFluid's Companion Platform - Log data in the field and sync it later to track metrics between roasts.
