This easy-to-use espresso maker can generate pressure to a style of espresso more commonly found in commercial espresso machines. Additions to the Flair Pro 2 Espresso Maker such as a stainless steel spout that clips onto the bottomless portafilter for a concentrated flow of espresso, silicone grips to the handle and pressure gauge for improved workflow and an enhanced-flow bottomless portafilter make this the superior espresso maker to take with you anywhere you want.
Flair Pro 2 Espresso Maker Brewing Instructions:
- Detach the brewing head and preheat with hot water.
- Fill the basket with freshly ground coffee and tamp.
- Reattach the head, fill the reservoir with hot water
- Press down on the handle to begin extraction.
- Use the pressure gauge to control flow and extraction
- After 25-45 seconds, enjoy your full-flavoured espresso shot.

Making a Freight Protection Claim
- To assess your claim, you will be required to provide photo and/or video evidence of the damaged product.
- All Freight Protections claims must be made within 3 business days of receiving your product.

Mostly great machine
The machine is well built. Mine came with a deformed stopgap rubber (for preheating) and need to be careful sometimes for leaks but overall great machine

Great way to experiment with espresso
I’m more of a pour over person, but as a former barista I wanted to experiment with new espresso ideas I never got to commercially. Turbo shots, 6bar, deeper pucks, different ratios etc. A flair has been a great way and affordable way to do this. Beware it is more work to make a shot though.

Simply Brilliant
Some context. I dad never pulled an espresso in my life. I do love coffee and have bought many, many shots over the years. Some which I thought tasted great, some made me wonder if the barista actually knew their craft. Recently I came across James Hoffman’s channel on Youtube (by chance) and got hooked….as you do. What I learnt made me question why the bad shots I had paid good money for were really that bad, given the process is, when dialled in correctly, reasonably repeatable. Especially for a trained barista. I just retired so I could not justify the type of electric espresso machine that was anywhere near decent. And I didn’t have the spare bench space either. So I parked the idea of trying to learn the black magic that is ‘pulling a decent espresso’. Until I stumbled across the world of manual lever pull machines. My journey...read more

Amazing product, espresso quality
As others have mentioned, the Flair Espresso makes outstanding espresso. Thermal management requires repeated heating up of the brew chamber and repeat shots are hard. People will often purchase a second chamber to overcome this issue. I find that it will stick well to some bench tops, but not others. My current bench top allows the Flair to slide a bit which is annoying. While you can secure it permanently to a bench, that is not an option if you are renting. In this regard, I think the Robot would be better for some benchtops, having opposing levels pushing on a central fulcrum. But I thoroughly enjoy this purchase and am amazed every shot I make. However, if I have 3-4 friends who want a coffee, it takes a bit of time to get them all out.

Wow! Worth Every Cent
First up, a shout out to Alternative Brewing for a fast, efficient and easy ordering and delivery process. The machine arrived within two workings days from my order. I have been searching for years for a portable espresso machine for when I am off grid or far from a local coffee house. I've been chasing a machine that was as good as my home espresso machine. I have tried numerous solutions such as ROK, Wacaco, Bellman, pods and others. While some wood good, they were never quite as consistent or produced a high enough quality espresso that hit the spot. I feel I have finally cracked the code with the Flair. I may even set it up for use at home its that good. This machine will make the perfect espresso anywhere.
