The Lelit MaraX is an E61 prosumer espresso machine that is compact, yet packed with great features. This heat exchanger coffee machine offers pre-infusion capabilities, pre-set temperatures and steam/brew priority modes for exceptional performance.

Pro Brewing Performance

The Lelit MaraX Coffee Machine simplifies the path to professional-quality results with pre-set brewing temperatures that can be adjusted at the base of the machine. Each pre-set temperature is designed to suit specific roasts, while the mechanical pre-infusion ensures a proper bloom before extraction, enhancing the flavour of your coffee.

Brew and Steam Prioritised

With its innovative brew and steam priority modes, the MaraX offers greater control over your espresso workflow. In steam priority mode, the boiler heats water to a higher temperature, delivering powerful steaming for milk-based drinks. On brew priority mode, optimal water temperatures are maintained for precise espresso brewing.

FAQ

Leaving machines like the Lelit MaraX on for extended periods, especially without auto-fill, poses a risk of damaging the heating element if the boiler water level drops too low. However, modern machines typically have over-temperature protection mechanisms to prevent such damage. Therefore, while it's generally not recommended to leave the machine on all day, occasional extended use should be safe as long as the over-temperature protection functions properly.
It's generally recommended to backflush an espresso machine with a three-way solenoid valve (such as the Silvia) once a week to maintain optimal performance and cleanliness. However, the frequency may vary depending on usage and specific machine recommendations.
To warm up the machine, it typically takes around 10 minutes. However, it's essential to draw some water through the group a couple of times during this process to help it reach a solid thermal mass, ensuring good temperature across the entire machine.
When your machine isn't producing crema, it's typically not a sign of a malfunction. Instead, it suggests that adjustments are needed in the brewing process. Look to adjusting Grind size, dose or yield - as well as considering the coffee that you are using. Pre-ground coffee will have significantly less chance of crema produced versus that of freshly ground coffee. A further consideration is how old the roasted coffee beans are.
Yes, the Lelit MaraX is a very capable machine in brewing and steaming and can handle both duties at once.
You need a 58mm size tamp with the Lelit MaraX Coffee Machine.
