The Lido 2 manual coffee grinder is very easy to use, but also very hard-working! Cranking speeds of approximately 20 turns per tablespoon (varies depending on coarseness setting), overall a very fast & smooth grinding experience. The large bean hopper suits single serving size or full capacity for larger quantity grinding. One natural bristle anti-static cleaning brush, custom hex assembly tool, rubber counter stand and comprehensive instructions are all included. Carry bag also available - sold separately. Great, sturdy packaging ensures it gets to where it's going in one piece!

International Shipping Terms and Conditions – Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to local charges. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Alternative Brewing cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and Alternative Brewing will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence. We cannot mark International orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees.

By providing Authority to Leave you agree that the parcel is deemed to have been received when left at your premises.
Alternative Brewing, and its agents/delivery partners associated with the delivery of your parcel, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from you providing Authority to Leave for your delivery. You agree to release Alternative Brewing from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of your election to choose Authority to Leave for your delivery.
If you do not provide Alternative Brewing Authority to Leave for your delivery, you will have to be at your premises in order for the delivery to occur.

What does Freight Protection offer?
1 - Priority Customer Service – as soon as you contact our team to submit your Freight Protection claim, you will be placed into a priority queue to ensure your claim is processed as quickly as possible.
2 - Advanced Shipping – to minimise downtime without your product, once we have assessed your claim we will ship a replacement to you before we have received the damaged goods back.
Making a Freight Protection Claim
- To assess your claim, you will be required to provide photo and/or video evidence of the damaged product.
- All Freight Protections claims must be made within 3 business days of receiving your product.
- Freight Protection does not apply to damaged packaging and only applies to the product itself.

Great grinder for home
Delivers consistent grind and is easy to use. However, it is not small which makes it less than ideal for travel. Its grind size setting using rings is not intuitive and can take some trial and error to get right. The instructions are not very useful so consult YouTube. Sometimes half-ground beans jump out of the top as there is no lid.
Lido 2 is impressive
Lido 2 is perfect. Has cut down on my grinding time. The cone attachment to the hopper is a great idea, so easy to pour out the grounds. Adjusting the coarse/fine ring is so easy. I’m really impressed.
grind consistency .... mmmmmm.
this has improved the flavours of my pour-overs, off the chart. And I thought I was doing OK. negligible 'mud', just correct sized grounds having their contents uniformly extracted. Small Batch beans, Lido, Chemex, revelation.
A perfect grind for espresso and more
I brew my coffee in an old school Italian espresso stovetop cafeteria and this grinder does an amazing job. I was tossing up between manual and electric grinders but so happy I bought the lido. It’s actually really fast to grind, even the fine setting is super quick and the quality of the grind is spot on. You pay more for the Lido than sone other cheaper brands but if you want a fine grind, you have to pay a bit more for the ability. This is. My first purchase from alternate brewing and all was smooth sailing. I had all my questions answered promptly through their online chat which works perfectly. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Courier delivery and well packed.
Lido 2
The range of adjustments for the grind size is great, allows you to quickly dial it in depending on what you are making. Definitely a larger hand grinder, however the quality of the unit makes it well worthwhile.
Solid and a joy to use
I've only recently taken an interest in coffee brewing so this is my first coffee grinder purchase. I wanted something that would last so despite the price, I chose the Lido 2 after reading rave reviews and I haven't been disappointed. The Lido 2 is very sturdy, I love the feel of it. You can tell every part has been thoughtfully designed and manufactured with quality materials. At first I thought it was a bit hard to crank, but once you learn put a bit of muscle in, it is actually very easy to use for both fine and coarse grinds. Highly recommended!
