Equipped with 64mm SSP flat burrs, variable RPM, and stepless grind adjustment, the Option-O Lagom P64 delivers outstanding results that will impress the most discerning specialty coffee enthusiasts.
It is also designed with an angular body to minimise coffee retention and has permanent alignment so you won’t have to stress about maintenance. There are four sets of burrs compatible with the P64, each one specialised to deliver specific results.
Zero-retention grinding
The Lagom P64 is a single-dose zero-retention grinder with an angular unibody and a wide loading funnel. This innovative design creates a clear path for the beans to minimise retention without taking any of the extra steps that are usually required from other low-retention grinders. Under the dispenser is an integrated portafilter fork so you can enjoy hands-free grinding.
Variable RPM
Lagom designed this grinder to help home baristas and specialty coffee lovers make the most out of their favourite coffees. The variable RPM on the Lagom P64 lets you achieve a customised grind that works the best for the coffee and brewing method that you’re using. To adjust the RPM, simply turn the dial on the side of the grinder.
Burr options
The P64 comes with SSP Red Speed Burrs which are fantastic for all types of roast levels and work exception for espresso brewing where traditional brew ratios are used. Paired with the stepless micrometric grind adjustment, it’ll be easy to find the perfect grind for any coffee.
For a higher-level or more specialised performance, there are other burrs that are compatible with the Lagom P64. These Mizen Burrs are an all-around brewing burr, focused on bringing out the brightness and improving the clarity and fidelity of flavours in the cup. Best for Light roasts, and swapping regularly across Espresso and Filter.
Inspired by the aggressiveness of traditional-style burrs, the 64ES burr geometry took an innovative turn with grind bypass paths, adding unexpected character to espresso. Through meticulous manufacturing, the Mizen 64ES achieves a sweet, balanced profile and a delightful finish, addressing challenges often faced by traditional burrs during extraction.

Transformative
Making the shift from a conventional grinder to a single dosing grinder has been revelatory. The reproducibility of the coffee is reassuring and rewarding. The amount and uniformity of the grind, without stale grinds from earlier grinding, means gone are the days of an inconsistent output. Remarkably well engineered and a work of art. Great quality build. Rapid communication and delivery from AB too added to the experience.
Lagom P64, need I say more?
Excellent quality and craftsmanship, we've come from a Fellow Opus and whilst that is a fantastic grinder for the price, the P64 with the Mizzen OM burrs is an entirely different experience. Is it expensive? Yes, but there's no comparison when it comes to quality and performance, without spending a whole lot more.
Super high quality a performance to match
This grinder was purchase to replace my 19 year old Mazzer Mini that had burrs replaced some 5 years ago, as well as to complement my new Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima machine. The Mazzer may still be used when I have large groups over for coffee, but for day-to-day use the Lagom will be the go. Well the grinder itself is everything it claims to be. The grinder and accessories are all high quality and work as expected. I really like the NO-MESS operation especially compared to the Mazzer. It's heavy and virtually vibe free so it sits where it’s placed on the bench and does not move around like some other grinders. It’s super quiet - in fact perhaps too quiet (especially for me as I am hearing challenged) so that I can't tell its running so I have unknowingly left it running several times and of course when you dump the...read more
