The Porlex Mini II still comes with the durable and long lasting stainless steel body, grinds cup, lid, and handle; With the inner burr, inner burr insert with spring and outer burr, completely being redesigned with over 12 months of R&D adding upgraded materials for the interior housing.
The Inside components have been improved for better particle size distribution. This includes more reliable grind adjustments of 16 clicks grind change per rotation (around 37 microns between clicks) And a new claw-foot shape that allows for the grinder to be stood upright when the grinds cup is removed.
Basic Grind Setting Guide:
- Extra Fine (Turkish) = 1 - 2 clicks
- Fine (Espresso) = 3 - 4
- Medium-Fine (Fine-Medium?) = 5 - 6
- Medium (Filter) = 7 - 8
- Medium-Coarse = 9 - 10
- Coarse (French Press) = 11 - 12

Making a Freight Protection Claim

Atmos Fellow + Porlex Mini II
The atmos is great, exactly what I needed. The 0.7L fits a 250g bag of beans and a stainless scoop with ease. I find I need a couple extra pumps to keep the vacuum. The Porlex mini is awesome, glad I went the smaller size as it easily does 20g of beans (although I use 14g in my stovetop). Service is fantastic as always.

Perfect Handheld grinder
The Porlex Mini has been really helpful for my portable requirements with travel for work. i am able to put all Aeropress equipment in the pouch with the porlex due to its small size. really great consistent product.

Quick & Effective
I have struggled with finding small, compact grinders that are made well and produce exactly the grind I want. The porlex mini II has completely changed that! If I feel like espresso, it can do that for me, if I want drip coffee, it can do that for me. For any situation I find myself in, the porlex mini II has pulled through. I can now enjoy coffee the way I like it without having to spend silly money at cafes. One very happy camper!

Quality and reliable
To cut it short, this is a wonderful product that I'm planning on buying more of for the purpose of gifts to friends and family. For a little bit longer; this house has a few coffee drinkers. The Porlex has proven to be extremely effective in how much it improves the overall enjoyment and experience of the beans. It is used on average 5 times a day and always works well. The adjustment function allows you to get the best extraction from whatever beans you are using for whatever kind of brewing method you most enjoy. As the beans age and loose some of their oils, you can change the grind intensity on the fly to better increase surface area and extract more of what remains. Most definitely this product is recommended.

Great little grinder, just not for espresso
Easy to use, disassemble and clean. Bear in mind you won't get a proper espresso grind from it.

Hi there, I own this grinder and have used it heavily for two years and the quality of the grind has recently dropped dramatically. I think that maybe the burrs might have been worn out. Is it possible to replace the burrs? If so do you sell the replacements? Thanks, peter.
