In particular the size of these holes are so small that all the undissolved solids, that usually end up in your cup continuing to brew and adding the bitterness more and more as your let your coffee sit, are held back all together, increasing your chances of an ideal extraction and clarity of flavour from start to finish.

Each filter is made from durable stainless steel, are 100μ Thick and come in two different sizes; the F1 10k having ~10,000 - 100μ Micron size Holes, whereas the F2 50k has upwards of 50,000 holes, all around ~30μ across.

Alternative Brewing cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and Alternative Brewing will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence. We cannot mark International orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees.

What does Freight Protection offer?
1 - Priority Customer Service – as soon as you contact our team to submit your Freight Protection claim, you will be placed into a priority queue to ensure your claim is processed as quickly as possible.
2 - Advanced Shipping – to minimise downtime without your product, once we have assessed your claim we will ship a replacement to you before we have received the damaged goods back.
Making a Freight Protection Claim
- To assess your claim, you will be required to provide photo and/or video evidence of the damaged product.
- All Freight Protections claims must be made within 3 business days of receiving your product.
- Freight Protection does not apply to damaged packaging and only applies to the product itself.

It's great
I have the Aeropress Go version and use it when away (which is frequently) and wanted a simpler solution to paper filters (which I use when at home). The last time I was away I ran out of paper filters :( The ultra fine filter is great from an ease perspective & the cuppa it makes is indistinguishable to MY palate - reading the reviews of the normal filter PLUS the fact that the suppliers are producing an ultra fine version persuaded me to get the finer version. It's great :)
Really handy
I was worried about running out of paper filters and what a waste they were. This is a little more flimsy than I expected but it works well.
Good filters
These filters are great for experimenting with the profile of the brewed coffee. They are not completely silt free, instead affecting the flavor in interesting and positive ways that are different to paper filters and typical coarser metal filters. If you want to brew with metal filters only, with minimal fines in the cup, the 10K works great. Otherwise, if you want to experiment with different flavor profiles and don't mind some sediment in the cup, get all three Ten Mile filters. Also, stacking filters exponentially increases the resistance which has a potential of negatively impacting the brew. I'll need to do more testing, but it's something to bear in mind. The filters work great individually, however.
Rich, grit free coffee
Got this as a replacement for my paper filters and find it as easy to use as my paper filters. I started using the inverted method to brew my coffee, but found it was too finicky so started using it the normal way over my mug, there's a bit of a leak through the filter, but I haven't found any grit in my coffee. It's pretty easy to clean too and no coffee bits get stuck in the holes.

I found the two filters could be used together to make a drink with no sediment at all, that is how I use them every time. Even with filters stacked it does not take too much pressure on the plunger to produce the drink. The filters look robust with a reinforced ring on the perimeter and look as if they will last years
